Neighbors come together for 4th Annual Brickell Holiday Celebration

The 4th Annual Brickell Holiday Celebration was a big success and a lot of fun on December 15, with more families and children than ever! Don’t Look Down Productions had the park and trees lit with festive holiday colors and DJ Vertigo got the holiday spirit going with music for the season. We had activities for kids hosted by Brickell and KB Moms, Face Painting by the uber-talented Wally, hot chocolate and espresso from Miami Elite, cookies, cakes, Hanakkah coins, water and juice. Thank you to Pastor Abel from Plymouth Congregational Church who welcomed the crowd, and Rabbi Julie Jacobs from Beth David Congregation, who led festive Hanakkah songs.  And course, Santa and Mrs. Claus made a great entrance in the Mercedes-Benz of Coral Gables convertible, escorted by Miami Police. It was a terrific evening for the community.

BHA salutes our stalwart presenting sponsor, FirstService Residential. They have helped make this event possible every year. And a big thanks to Mercedes-Benz of Coral Gables, our newest major sponsor, who brought Santa and Mrs. Claus in in luxury and style this year. Thanks again to our friends and supporters at Mercy Hospital, Wells Fargo Insurance and the 1814 Brickell Park Improvement trust for their underwriting support.

Special thanks to Immanuel Lutheran Church for the use of their parking lot next door. Our apologies to Crossbridge Church, which we understand had a concert scheduled for this date, our rain date, which caused some complications with parking at the church. We regret any neighbors that got caught in the crossfire of the miscommunication.

We missed our friends from Christ Fellowship Church whose schedule did not permit them to join us on our rain date.
