BHA is pleased to welcome new members, Polga Medical Group, P.A.. They are an annual retainer-based, primary care concierge medical practice serving patients from Canada, Europe, Latin America, and across the United States.

Polga Medical Group’s offices are convenient for Brickell neighbors, located across the Rickenbacker Causeway on Key Biscayne, as well as in South Dade. As a concierge practice (that accepts insurance), Polga Medical Group limits the number of patients they accept and charge an annual participation fee per individual. This method enables the doctors to spend generous amounts of time with each patient —typically 60-90 minutes per engagement—and provide 24/7 access, hospital admissions and fast-tracked referrals.

Polga Medical Group offers “house calls” as part of their concierge model. “Polga patients deeply value service, discretion and privacy,” Co-Founder and Managing Partner Raniero Gimeno said, “In that spirit, we deliver accordingly.”

In addition to office and home visits, the group provides same- or next-day service and appointments without wait times.

Dr. Justin J. Polga, MD, leads the practice. Dr. Polga has nearly 15 years of experience as a hospital-based Internist, starting in New England and then ultimately at Baptist Health South Florida where he served as Medical Director and Head of Inpatient Medicine. Dr. Polga sought to practice preventative medicine in an environment that would allow for superior medical care, and concierge medicine fit that need.

Along with extensive experience in both the inpatient and outpatient worlds, Dr. Polga has garnered impressive accolades: he is a member of the American Medical Association, and is a graduate of both the Hospital Medicine Leadership Academy and the Building Collaborative Leadership Program. Additionally, he serves as a Clinical Associate Professor at the FIU Herbert Wertheim College of Medicine.

Dr. Polga’s training is also impressive. He has been a board-certified Internist for nearly two decades. After graduating magna cum laude from the University of Pennsylvania, Dr. Polga pursued his MD from Tufts University, and completed his residency training at the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital.

Dr. Polga also believes that you should give back to the community with which you serve. He thus sits on the Baptist Foundation Advisory Board, Coral Gables Community Foundation Board, is active with University of Miami Citizens Board, Coral Gables & Key Biscayne Chamber of Commerce(s), ChamberSOUTH, Village(s) of Key Biscayne & Pinecrest, Camillus House and several other community organizations. He holds privileges at Mercy Hospital, South Miami Hospital, and University of Miami Hospital (to name a few).
