Potential Florida Marlins Site. Harvey Taylor and other private interests have amassed property on the Miami River that they are proposing for a 44,000-seat retractable dome stadium for the Marlins. Both mayors (Dade and Miami) have endorsed the project which would include retail development at the same time. The Marlins are expected to choose their site by the end of June/beginning of July.
