Brickell Avenue Repaving. Mr. Martinez indicated there’s a good chance Brickell Avenue will be repaved with asphalt, which has been the desire of residents for nearly a decade…since the last repaving in 1996.

Villa Magna Project – Florida East Coast Realty
Representatives from The Mark Yacht Club on Brickell Bay, the closest neighbor to the Villa Magna project, have met to negotiate some mitigating factors and have come to agreement on the project.

Proposed Regulatory Changes to the State Condo Regulation Acts
A resolution was proposed in response to the changes being considered in Tallahassee for the Condo Regulation Acts. The resolution urged that the State first properly structure and fund the already-overburdened state agency that would be charged with oversight of the new regulations.

Harry Turk moved and Al Maloof seconded that we table the resolution while we look at the provisions that still remain in the bill after recent amendments and see the status of the proposal in the current legislative session.

The motion to table passed unanimously.

The meeting was adjourned at 7:40 p.m.

The next meeting is Wed., May 19, 2004, at Miami City Club.
